Our History

Central Oregon Employers Council was founded in 2021 as an offshoot of Oregon Employers Council which was a non-profit for over 30 years. As a successful local chapter, we wanted to continue to provide a local resource for our community.

Our mission is to provide high-quality, low-cost educational opportunities for local employers. We plan 4 seminars annually on a wide range of topics related to employment:

  • New employment laws passed in Oregon
  • Leadership & Communication
  • Recruitment strategies
  • Compensation programs
  • Supervisor basics/Advanced Supervisor training each fall  
  • More topics selected each year based on feedback from our members
